Speaker: Dr. Paul Scully-Power, CEO of MIKOH Corporation Limited, and Australia’s first astronaut.

Topic: Reflections on Space and Life.

Biography: Dr Paul Scully-Power is the Chief Executive Officer of MIKPH Corporation Limited.

Dr Paul Scully-Power has extensive international experience and proven success in commercial and government organizations throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

He is an acknowledged leader in applied technology, an innovator and corporate strategist, and is Australia’s first astronaut having flown aboard Challenger on the 13th mission of the Space Shuttle.

Dr Scully-Power has significant expertise in defense, security & intelligence, aviation & aerospace, systems analysis & ICT, sensor & communication systems, and in corporate management. He has served with the Royal Australian Navy, the U.S. Navy, NASA, the Pentagon, the White House, the Lockheed Martin Corporation, and the Tenix Group worldwide, and was a Director of the Australian Trade Commission for five years.

He is a Doctor of Science in Applied Mathematics, a Liveryman of the City of London, and a Member of the Order f Australia.
*We have changed the format of the meeting. The lunch buffet now opens at noon, so after you sign in you select your lunch and sit at a dinner table. With this change, we hope you will be able have lunch and listen to our guest speaker, all within a normal lunch hour.*

Lunch: $15.00, including sodas. Alcoholic beverages, $2.00 each.

Volunteers: As usual, we need a volunteer (or two) to run the bar.

Parking: There is no parking at the Embassy. There is public parking behind and under the Airline Pilots Association at a cost of $15.00 for two hours.

2010 Membership dues of $25.00 are payable at the meeting. Alternatively, make your check payable to R&SL, and send it to Dave Ward, 2308 November Lane, Reston, VA, 20191.
