Trafalgar Night Dinner

Where: Amenities Room Embassy of Australia, 1601 Massachusetts Avenue NW., Washington, DC 20036 Guest speaker/Topic: Ms. 761st Tank Battalion, a military historian and author, who will discuss - The Black Panthers: A Story of Race War and Courage-the 761st Tank Battalion in World War II. Short bio: “Author Gina Maria DiNicolo is a military historian and award-winning journalist who has written on military topics for nearly two decades. She was a contributing editor at Military Officer magazine, where more than twenty of her stories graced the publication’s cover. She is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in history, and served as an officer in the Marine Corps Her first book is The Black Panthers: A Story of Race War and Courage, is painstakingly researched narrative nonfiction about the 761st Tank Battalion in World War II. The book won a well deserved spot as a finalist for the 2014 Army Historical Foundation Dist
