Guest speaker/Topic: Ms. 761st Tank Battalion, a military historian and author, who will discuss - The Black Panthers: A Story of Race War and Courage-the 761st Tank Battalion in World War II.

Short bio: “Author Gina Maria DiNicolo is a military historian and award-winning journalist who has written on military topics for nearly two decades. She was a contributing editor at Military Officer magazine, where more than twenty of her stories graced the publication’s cover. She is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in history, and served as an officer in the Marine Corps

Her first book is The Black Panthers: A Story of Race War and Courage, is painstakingly researched narrative nonfiction about the 761st Tank Battalion in World War II. The book won a well deserved spot as a finalist for the 2014 Army Historical Foundation Distinguished Writing Award.” 


Charge - $15.00, including buffet lunch and sodas.  Alcoholic beverages- $2.00 each.

Parking: While there is no parking at the Embassy, paid off street parking is available behind and under the Airline Pilots Association- 17th and Mass, and at 15th and Mass (1240 15th street). On street two hour metered parking is also available.
